Game of Thrones and is still there – one of the most successful shows to date, and one of the most respected roles in the Jon Snow character show. But what really made Joan Snow such a popular leader? This fictional character won our hearts because he led with his heart and showed how to be a true and good leader.

Joan Snow showed us that leadership is available. Snow had a very good intention for the people, and he was not hungry for power. 

Why do you respect Jon Snow’s leadership style? 

It is natural for fans to use famous fictional characters as inspiration for real-life decisions. 
It is a well-known belief that one of Joan Snow’s strongest and most detailed characters is his amazing natural leadership skills. Throne fans first meet the young character; Snow is an orphaned bastard taken under the wing of a powerful family. He seemed to have little or no power. 
 During the series, we saw Joan Snow transform from a powerless dismissal into a believing leader.

Against all inequalities, he was able to mobilize people to justify his cause, attract more determined leaders, and encourage people to follow him and risk their lives for him. 1. Lead With Your Heart and Do Not Judge

What does it mean to lead with your heart?
 It means putting aside some of your own decisions and decisions and looking at people with an open heart and a generous spirit. It means you see the power in people. Joan Snow did this: he did not judge his friends, relatives, or friends according to their arguments and went alone. Not only did he see who they were, but they also saw who they were.
Your job as a leader is to trust people and help them see their potential. It is your job to discover what that is and to bring it about.

You may have an authoritative title, but if there is no follow-up and no one respects you, you are not a good leader. That is why this topic is not so important.

3. Accept That You Don’t Know Everything

In business, you can’t do it yourself. You do not know everything – about your group. To grow and thrive, you need to hire talented people and entrust others. As a leader, it is important to be able to recognize great talent, and give talented people on your team the opportunity to make decisions, provide solutions, and focus.
You don’t want to be the most knowledgeable or the most talented person on your team.

Rather than being a wolf, cultivate smart alliances and unite your friends in achieving a goal.
This is true: you cannot do everything yourself. Senior leaders work with others and share knowledge, resources, and strategies because senior leaders understand that two heads are better than one, three heads are better than two, and so on. As Joan Snow said, “I need you too if we’ve going to hit them.”

A wolf may be successful, but the success of a wolf can be a very difficult journey. For example, the lone wolf is more focused on its competition. They have very little thought. The wolf often thinks about how to beat opponents, without thinking about working with competitors alone.
If all you have to do is focus on how to win the race, you will not be a good leader.

Instead of thinking about how you will crush your competitors, think about how you can benefit by working with them.
You can promote, share customer bases, share resources, and create collaborative collaborations.

5. Lead With Integrity: Have Strong Ethics and Morals

Jon Snow is a leader with a strong moral compass, a lot of empathy and a good moral sense. One of Jon Snow’s most famous quotes says, “If enough people make false promises, words never mean anything.” I like this measure because I think staying true to your word is very important in business and leadership.

I believe integrity is very simple: You do what you mean you will do. He follows. If for some reason you are unable to do what you said you would do, at least have the respect of communicating with this from a trustworthy and ethical environment.

People often make false promises in the business world to advance. When you do that, your customers and team members lose faith and lose their character. It is better to be prepared and to go overboard.

6. Lead By Example

A successful leader knows that they can’t just talk – they have to walk. If you have a clear mission and clear key prices for your product, you should always show those relevant values. Lead by example by living and breathing those goals.

Jon Snow put himself there, fought for what he should believe, walked on foot, and showed his followers that he was willing to fight for his equipment because he really believed in it. When you are a leader, you can show courage by leaving your office, leaving your desk behind, and leading by example. You can always sit at your desk and share it with others. Sometimes you have to go up to your desk and show them how it’s done.

7. Be Driven By Your Mission, Not By Your Ego

A great leader is driven by machines, not by ego. That is why having a mission statement is so important.  Your goal is not just to make money, it’s to make a difference.

Leaders driven by the Ego will not succeed in motivating anyone, nor will they attract the highest talent.
Do you think you will attract the right people for the right reasons if you do not have a job to attract them, without making money or gaining power?
Remember that Jon Snow never sought power because of power, which made him a better leader because he is not driven by ego or hungry for power – he wanted to plead his cause.

8. Know What Battles Aren’t Worth Fighting

You may recall when Jon Snow told Ygritte, “You have attacked six times, and you have failed six times. The seventh will be the same. “You have no discipline. You have no training. Your army has no army. You don’t know how to fight.”

What do we learn here? It’s good to believe in your opinion, but it’s also good to know when your strategy doesn’t work. In this way, you can decide that it is a war that is not worth fighting, or you can decide to change your strategy and change your course. You have to be flexible enough to lock up and come up with a new way, or decide not to fight a war you know you will lose.

Successful leaders choose their own wars and then decide which ones to fight. They also know when to turn away from a plan that doesn’t get them there.

9. Fearlessly Make Tough Decisions

As a leader, your team is counting on you to make difficult decisions during difficult times. These decisions will not always be pleasant or easy to make. Something like the decision to end a partnership or quit a job will not be easy, but if it is the best business, it probably should be done.
In-Game of Thrones, Jon Snow stands by his decisions, even if his advisers oppose his decision. His character says things like, “This is my decision, my decision is over!” A famous quote from Jon Snow about making difficult decisions is, “Sometimes there are no happy choices, it is worse for others.”

If you want to make the best decisions for your company, be aware that it may not always be the most popular decision you will make. Your leadership skills are really tested when it is time to make an unpopular decision or create disruption because it is not easy to do.
Not everyone is capable of making these unpleasant decisions, which is why not everyone has the potential to be a leader.
